There are so many things we can do on Linkedin.  I want you to concentrate on creating relationships with people on Linkedin.  What does this look like.  

1.  Connect with people you already know that you have not connected with yet on Linkedin.

2. Connect with people you don't know.

3. Use the search bar to research potential clients and then reach out to them.

4. Don't forget to make sure profile is complete.

Hashtags on Instagram

 

Using hashtags on instagram is so important.  Take the time and make sure your using the right ones.  

  • Using hashtags for Instagram makes your content able to be found.  You want to use hashtags that are varied in numbers.  Such a 1 million or 10 million or 5 thousand or 10 thousand.  Mix them up.
  • You don't need to use 30 hashtags in every post! I usually post 10 to 15.  It varies and there really isn't hard evidence that if you post 30 you will be seen more.
  • Research your competitors and top influencers to find the best hashtags.  Find the experts in your field and see what they are using.  Also pay careful attention to how they post them.
  • Make sure your hashtags are relevant to whatever you're posting.  So if you were posting a marketing picture you would use the #food, but you would use the #marketing.

1. Pick a time that you will post daily.  Use your Instagram Analytics to figure that out.

2. An hour before start liking and commenting on as many posts as you can in your feed. 

3. Make sure your comments are authentic

GIVE PEOPLE A REASON TO FOLLOW YOU ON INSTAGRAM!

1) How’s your profile image.  Do you have great profile picture. Is it your brand logo or a an updated picture of you?   Make sure your description describes what your posts are  about.  Is your name on the profile?  Does the description attract the followers you want?

2) Post visually appealing photos.  Are your photos attractive to the eyes of the followers you want? 

3) Be consistent.Be consistent in everything you do from posting at least twice  daily at the same times.  Also be consistent in connecting with people at 20 people a day by following their accounts.

If you do these 3 things you will get more followers.  Just do it! :)

I get asked all the time if Instagram is good for business.  I get asked all the time is instagram a waste of time.  Im here to say that I believe instagram is the most important social media platforms around.  Why because it's the best way to promote your small business or company.  And to be quite honest, every business right now should be incorporating instagram and should have a marketing strategy in place.

Here are some important points about being on Instagram:

1. Your business can tell a story!  We live in a story telling world and it's a great way to give a glance in to behind the scenes or your business culture.

2. People engage more on Instagram!  Instagram gives so much opportunity to engage with your community.  Did you know the engagement rate on Instagram is higher than all the main social channels. 

I just want challenge you put your business out there on Instagram by creating relevant, engaging stories.

How to Get more Love on Instagram?

How do you stay consistent? Consistency is the biggest part of Instagram and getting more love. If you're not on the platform no one will see you. Here are a few thoughts.

1. Chill and relax as your posting and engaging. This should be fun. If it's not fun don't do it.
2. When posting on Instagram it would be a good idea to know who you are talking to. Spend some time know ideal client or customer.

  • Who are they?
  • What do they like?
  • What are their biggest struggles? (and what your solutions for them?)

Write down your answers right now.
You will be posting to serve them and connect with them.


3. Choose 3 to 5 topics or more to always post about. Have a folder for each topic in dropbox and save content and create content.
4. Engage with your peeps.

You have to like and follow other posts and engage with people who comment on your posts.
5. Share other peeps relevant content.  Don't know what to post here are some suggestions:

  • Quotes relevant to your niche 
  • Personal posts about...

MY TIPS ON CREATING SOME GREAT SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.

 

No one ever takes time to think on how they want to show up on their social media platforms.  Here are my top tips in creating the best platforms ever.  

1. Post what your audience really likes!  Let's face it, if you are boring they won't come back.  So make the effort in finding out everything your audience needs and wants.  And then BAM you will be a rockstar!

2. Put a branded look to your content.  This can be a logo, a feel or a color.  Make it scream you!

3. Focus on relevant, niched down content.  If you are implementing the first tip in the video, this one wont be hard.  Angle your post to a particular niche.  For example if you are writing to photographers then focus on the content for them.

4. Theme your content.  I do this all the time.  One month I will write about Instagram and the next month Facebook and so on and so on.  If you theme your content it makes it easier to write about.
