Todays video is about some tools I use to shoot my videos. Also I put in my favorite editing tool I love. Watch the video and see what I have to say. Basically you can have some decent tools for a little over a 100 dollars and get them on Amazon. I decided to provide links for that will help you if you would like to find out more about any of these products. These products I use in every video shoot in some way.
CamKix Wireless Bluetooth Camera Shutter Remote Control for Smartphones
JOBY GripTight GorillaPod Stand
Wondershare Filmora9 for all my video editing
Watch the video above to learn some tips that when you're doing FB Live you won't be boring!
1. Plan - Make sure you have a plan that talks about how you are going to FB Live. Just don't press the button.
2. Strategy - Make sure you have a strategy. Know why you are doing FB Live. Do you want more views on your page? Do you want more likes on your page. Do you want to build your email list?
3. Be Consistent and Find the right time - If you're going to do FB Live make sure you are consistent. Find that perfect day and right time and you will be a hit! :)
4. Keep it short - So many reasons why to keep it short.
a. The longer you go on FB Live you might tend to ramble and bore your audience.
b. If you keep it between 7 to 10 minutes you can share it to IGTV. Also if you keep it under 10 minutes you can share it on Linkedin too!
All and all just make sure you are providing a very structured FB Live for your audience so you don't become boring!
This weeks video tip talks about posting videos that solve a problem. When it comes to a great marketing strategy you want to make sure that the content you're sharing on video is solving a problem. So think about who your audience is and what you can solve for them! Think about their pain points and how you can help them. If you do a video that solves a problem you will be able to touch your audience in a way that comes from the place of true humbleness. Plus I will also nudge them a bit to do business with you without actually asking them to do business.
The one thing you need to know to crush it this year in your social media.
There is no magic bullet or pill.
What's important is you engaging in community on social media!
You are not going to get customers by always putting up the buy me button.
You need to create relationships online and that is the most important thing.
How do you do that? You do that by giving!
Post relevant content, I've been saying this all last year.
You have to share with people that they can actually use something in their own businesses
or their own personal life.
So for this week I want to challenge you to start engaging more with your community.
My question is "Why choose video Marketing for your business"
1.Don't wait on video Marketing. The time is now. Don't let this opportunity pass you by. It's a great way to get engagement and followers.
2. You tube is the 2nd largest search engine. So take advantage of topics that other people search by making sure your posting highly searched topics.
3. Videos create a crazy amount of trust. People will do business with those whom they know like and trust. When you're selling anything you have to build trust. Connecting with people on video will build that trust.
4. You Got Mail - Videos are a great to put in email and send to your list. Why because the people on your list already trust you.
Next week when I post my video it will be 2019. I want to wish you a very happy New Year and challenge you to make 2019 the year your business markets with video.
And this is the quick video tip of the week.
I want to share 5 quick tips on how you make better videos to market your business.
1. Make sure the background is clear. Make sure you don't have busy or distracting background.
2. Make sure your lighting is good. Nothing is worse than a dark video! Morning light around 10am or afternoon light around 4pm is great for natural lighting. If you use regular light make sure you stay away from lighting that will cast shadows and make you look distorted.
3. Make sure the audio is clear. Go the distance and buy an external light. Remember if they can't hear you they won't watch the video.
4. Make sure your online presence and your video presence is really good. Make sure you show your enthusiasm for what you are talking about.
5. Avoid shaky videos. Use a tripod!!!
Hope this helps you to make better quality videos!!!
This month I'm going to spend some time on using video's for your social media marketing. So to piggyback on 2 questions I asked last week which were:
1. Do you have a video marketing strategy?
2 . Does anyone even view your videos?
FB is a great place to implement some video marketing strategy. One very unique way is FB Live!
WHY FB LIVE?
FB shows your video on FB LIVE, so people will come.
What do I want to accomplish on FB LIVE?
1. Do I want more views?
2. Do I want more clicks to product or website?
3. Do I want to have a call to action that they will click on?
Who's Watching my Video's? I ask myself that question all the time. Do I really know who my audience is? Do I touch my audience with heart-felt relevant content? Am I giving a solution to the problems they are having? Do I even have a strategy. This week I want to encourage you to think about these questions and next week we will dive deeper into some of these questions.
No doubt about it IGTV is super exciting. It’s an awesome way for amateur videographers, vloggers, to create content for the masses. You can choose to create edited videos with lighting and graphics, or you can simply record your day-to-day life, musings, feelings, and experiences. Since it’s just beginning, it’s an exciting time to get on board with IGTV — it’s going to be HUGE, and we all get to be a part of it. So go out there — get creating!
