There always has been a lot of buzz around social media marketing. I am using it in my business. And it works. It works for me because I enjoy connecting with people on a personal and business level. Plus, I love to have access to thousands of people I otherwise wouldn’t have a chance to connect with.
It’s exciting to interact with new people and create new relationships every day. It’s fun reconnecting with old friends. And I love the plethora of information flashing in front of me.
Here is my big “wow”:
When I was younger, I was impressed by the opening narration of Superman. It stated he was faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. I was wowed by this and wanted to see all the amazing stuff Superman did. Superman was cool. We all wanted to be Superman —yes even girls like me. I used to put a towel around my neck and fly through my house until my parents decided they had enough of my imagination.
Now I’m fascinated and impressed by social media.
It’s true. Social media has that same power. It’s not a superhero, but it’s a super-communicator and super-connector. So, in a sense, the tie-in here is easy.
